INTRODUCTION :-

  • Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga is an important clinical department for teaching and training the UG as well as PG students.
  • The department having it’s own library consist of many scientific books of Ayurveda as well as modern science. Department also having many informative charts, models and specimens.
  • OPD, IPD, Labour room, OT complex all these are fully equipped with instruments and medicines.

HOSPITAL ACTIVITIES :-

  • Spacious OPD with well furnished examination table along with all necessary equipments
  • Well equipped , large and hygienic labour room and IPD with general ward and private rooms. Adequate staff also there.
  • Well equipped operation theater with experienced staff.
  • ANC, PNC check up with routine investigation facility
  • For the benefits of the patient various government schemes like MJPJY scheme are adopted in the department.
  • 24 hrs efficient and emergency patient monitoring by resident doctor.
  • Well trained hospital staff and doctors to conduct normal labour, LSCS, Hysterectomy , OS tighting and various minor and major gynecological as well as obstetrical surgeries.
  • Ayurvedic treatment of various gynecological diseases such as Vaginal White discharge, DUB, Infertility etc. Along with Panchakarma and Sthanik chikitsa such as Yonidhawana, Yonipichu, Yonidhupana, Uttarabasti etc.

DEPARTMENTAL VISION :-

UG & PG Student should be able to

  • Learn an Ayurvedic and allopathic view of subject Prasuti tantra and Stree roga.
  • Learn not only theoretical aspect but also it’s application in clinical practice.
  • Research in different fields of Prasuti tantra and Stree roga.
  • Consult and counsel variety of patients.
  • Handle emergency condition of patients.

DEPARTMENTAL MISSION :-

  • To provide maximum care to female patients rural area.
  • Also to give effective maternal and fetal care during ANC & PNC period.
  • To treat different gynecological disorders effectively in order to reduce their prevalence rate in society.
  • To promote awareness about Ayurvedic treatment and medicines.
  • And most importantly to give scholar and bright Ayurvedic doctors to community for welfare of society.
